Dana and family@ 9:00pm 09-20-2009: We adopted Wyatt about 1.5 year ago. He is a big part of our family. He loves to go to the lake, he has his own life jacket and goes on the boat with us. He loves to swim. Thanks Lori, He is doing great and he is home.

Dale and Doug Miller@ 4:08pm 07-22-2009: It has been almost 1 month since we adopted Scout, our handsome young lab mix. He is everything Lori described to us and more. Scout made a perfect transition to our home in MA, found his "sleeping corner" right away and happily joins us for walks and rides and play. He is a loving and well-mannered companion. We are grateful to Lori for taking in this wonderful dog and helping us to connect with him. The gift Lori is giving to her rescue dogs is multiplied by the joy they bring to us when we receive them. Thanks to Lori, Scout is definitely in his forever home!

Paula@ 8:22am 07-02-2009: I've had my wonderful girl for 4 days now and she is adjusting beautifully. I'm enjoying walking with a dog again and my family is in love with her. She too seemed unphased by the transport which I did worry about. She was just very curious to know who was there to love her. Thanks Lori. Makalah truly is a gift.

Liz Pantano@ 2:59pm 05-24-2009: Our rescue dog Katie arrived yesterday. I didn't know what to expect as she had experienced a very long journey. When they opened the crate for her she just glided down the ramp with a smile on her face as if she were saying "No worries, its all good" - In the 24 hours we have had her she has had to adjust to a new home, a Aussie named Tucker who is definately letting her know who will be boss, and a 21 year old cat (the real boss) named Cinder. She has taken this all with the same great attitude. She is quickly winning over the whole household. We can't thank Lori enough for knowing this girl would be a good fit for us. She is a true gem.

The Brills@ 8:36pm 05-23-2009: We just picked up our new chocolate lab, Calvin, today, and he is awesome! So sweet and gentle. The kids love him. Lori, you are such a pleasure to work with, and obviously love the dogs and take great care of them. Greg's transport was also great. Greg treated the dogs so well. I could tell how much Calvin liked Greg as soon as he came off the truck. Thanks! We'll send more pictures soon!

Sarah & Julie@ 8:34am 05-18-2009: We originally came to see Ziva at the Lab Rescue - we had fallen in love with her picture on the website - and it was clear the moment we saw her that we definitely wanted to take her home. And then we saw Piper and just had to bring her home as well! We've had Ziva and Piper for almost a month now and they are doing so well. They were trained well already before we brought them home so it's only been easy to continue training them, and they are just such lovers and lap dogs! Many thanks to Lori for all the care she gave the girls, helping them recover from parvo! I definitely recommend the Lab Rescue to anyone looking for labs!

We are proud owners of a purebred 15 year old blonde lab Lex purchased as a puppy through a breeder and a 4 year old Windsor that was adopted through the Lab rescue in KY! It has been a pleasure to own both labs and Windsor has been a true blessing to our family, she is a gentle creature that has brought love, peace and inspiration to our entire family. Our new baby enjoys her most!! She has adapted well to our family and her new life. We are so grateful to GOD that he guided us to the road to rescue!

Guy Causey@ 9:12am 04-25-2009: I adopted Barney ( Aspen, one of Lily's puppies) and I knew from the first time I saw his picture he was the one for us. He loves playing with Midnight, the cat, and his older brother, Tal. He is definitely the cuddler of the bunch. I would most definitely recommend adoption from Lori's rescue group. I can't imagine a better fit! I cannot believe he is a llittle over a year old and he has been part of the family since March 28, 2008!

Joe Teta@ 11:08am 04-13-2009: I adopted Lily AKA Marley from Lori in January and she is just the best dog. She is a very smart and loving. My Co-Workers had a shower for Lily with all sorts of squeaky toys to welome her to Connecticut. I would recommend the Labs for Rescue adoption from Kentucky to everyone looking and wanting to adopt a new family member.
